Questions parents ask first
Is this a chatbot doing their homework?
No. The student writes the answer; Exaim marks it. It is the same thing that happens when a teacher takes them through a paper after a mock, which is revision, and no exam board has a problem with it.
How accurate is the marking?
Each mark point from the board's published scheme is checked separately rather than an overall grade being guessed. In school deployments a teacher confirms or corrects every mark before a student sees it.
Does it replace their tutor?
It replaces the hours a tutor spends marking, which is the part that does not scale. Plenty of students use both: the tutor teaches, Exaim marks everything in between.
What about A-Level?
A-Level is live now: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Further Maths for AQA, Edexcel and Edexcel International A Level, alongside GCSE, IGCSE, IB MYP and IB. English Language, Computer Science, Economics, Business and Psychology arrive through 2026. We write the week each one goes live.
