How accurate is the marking, really?
It is built by people who taught and examined these qualifications, and it marks against the board’s published scheme point by point rather than scoring holistically. We do not publish an agreement figure yet, and we will not quote one we have not measured. In a demo we will mark a set of your own students’ answers so your department can judge it against their own marking. That is the honest test.
Which subjects and boards?
Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths are live: AQA and Edexcel at GCSE, and Cambridge, Edexcel and Oxford AQA at IGCSE. A-Level and IB, and further subjects including Economics, Business and Computer Science, arrive through 2026 and are not part of the licence today.
Does it replace our teachers’ marking entirely?
No, and it should not. It handles the volume — the repeated practice questions where feedback needs to be fast rather than crafted — so teachers spend their marking time where judgement genuinely matters.
What does it cost for a school?
A single per-student price, banded by cohort size, covering every feature for every student, teacher and leader. There are no per-subject or per-seat add-ons and families pay nothing on top. The published band is above; the full rate card in GBP and AED comes with your quote.
How does it handle data protection and safeguarding?
Your school is the data controller and Exaim is the processor, working on your instructions under your own policies.
